What is the LOCK-N-STITCH LNS method? Metal crack repair technology

This is a technology that uses specially designed screws and reinforcement materials (LOCK) at the metal crack site to physically remove the crack with a metal touch and bond the metal together.

■□■ A completely new method for repairing metal cracks that is not welding ■□■ The process involves drilling, tapping, and inserting special screws and reinforcement materials (LOCK), and unlike traditional welding repairs, it does not apply heat that could damage the base material of the equipment. By avoiding heat, secondary cracks do not occur, and heat treatment and machining are also unnecessary. Metal crack repair technology "LOCK-N-STITCH" LOCK technology

Used to increase strength across metal cracks. When used in combination with LOCK and C series pins, it allows for high-strength and permanent repairs.

■□■A completely new metal crack repair that is not welding■□■ The strength reinforcement material "LOCK" is made of "4130 steel" and is heat-treated to maintain a tensile strength of 175,000 psi (12,200 kg/cm²). LNS Lock is manufactured by cutting with EDM wire for precision, making it superior to Roll Type and Punch Type locks in all aspects. ■□■A Completely New Metal Crack Repair That Is Not Welding■□■ The "C Series Pin" is a representative screw that showcases LNS's excellent technology. The CASTMASTER (C Series Pin) does not diffuse cracks; rather, it works in the opposite direction. In short, this pin features a special form of thread known as a "Spiral hook," which has a different angle compared to conventional screws. It pulls the crack areas together and secures them permanently. The key point is the thread design, which differs from standard screws. Metal crack repair technology "LOCK-N-STITCH" L series pins

The screw hole size and the taper at the base are characteristic features. There are three different diameters, each with varying lengths, and they are made of steel or aluminum.

■□■ A completely new metal crack repair that is not welding ■□■ The "L Series Pin" is designed so that the size of the screw hole for the L Series Pin is 1/1000 inch smaller than the size of the pin, and it has a large taper (7 degrees) at the base of the screw. When tightened, this causes about three threads of the female screw at the top of the screw hole to be crushed. The L Series Pin is used when the repair area does not penetrate the inside or outside of a corner or does not pass through the plug hole and bolt hole, or when there is no need to additionally increase structural strength.
